Vocalist Megan Browning

Respected and admired for her warm and inviting vocal tone and loving spirit, Soprano, Megan Browning has been a featured soloist in the United States and European countries. In June 2009, she attended OperaWorks Emerging Artist Program in Los Angeles, CA, where she studied under the direction of many accomplished vocal coaches and directors from around the United States. A recent graduate of Anderson University in Music, Megan studied voice with Dr. Fritz Robertson. During her time at Anderson, she was most recently heard performing the role of Arminda in Mozart’s La Finta Giardinera. Other past opera experience include the roles of Miss Wordsworth in Benjamin Britten’s Albert Herring and understudy for the role of Alice Ford in The Merry Wives of Windsor. During the summer of 2008, Megan was the guest soloist for the Mad Anthony Hoosier Celebrity Red Coat dinner in her hometown of Fort Wayne, Indiana. In 2007, Megan was awarded first place in Anderson University’s Concerto Aria Competition and she was also a first and second place winner in the classical voice division for the Indiana NATS state and regional competitions.

Megan is currently teaching private voice lessons at Mindy Cox Voice Studio and also regularly leads worship at Fellowship Missionary Church, in Fort Wayne, IN.
