My friend Yang Jie, who also goes by the nickname “Digimonk” has developed sample libraries that can be used in Reason and other virtual instruments. The first song I arranged for the Burmese album was done entirely with his sample libraries “Zoom In Life” and ” Hub And Vent” I also used his library “Balloon Drum” for the title song of the Okinawan record, and his library “Granular China” for several songs on the CHinese album.
He is technology/software developer in China, with great Connections to the music industry there, and was instrumental in getting a seven page article on Dream Rodeo published in a major industry magazine in China.
He creates these wonderful sample libraries as a hobby, because he loves to do it, and gives them way free on his web site which can be found here…
