Special Guest Yang Jie

My friend Yang Jie, who also goes by the nickname “Digimonk” has developed sample libraries that can be used in Reason and other virtual instruments. The first song I arranged for the Burmese album was done entirely with his sample libraries “Zoom In Life” and ” Hub And Vent” I also used his library “Balloon Drum” for the title song of the Okinawan record, and his library “Granular China” for several songs on the CHinese album.

He is technology/software developer in China, with great Connections to the music industry there, and was instrumental in getting a seven page article on Dream Rodeo published in a major industry magazine in China.

He creates these wonderful sample libraries as a hobby, because he loves to do it, and gives them way free on his web site which can be found here
